Among the local farms was the Flanders Family Farm, known as Mojalaki, which provided food for mill workers in Franklin.

In 1920, Mojalaki Country Club was established as one of New Hampshire's most challenging golf courses, designed by Wayne Stiles. It quickly became a favorite among golfers from across New England, celebrated for its difficult layout and natural beauty.

A notable event was the 1924 farewell dinner for Miss Trenoweth, the Assistant to the State Librarian, which was attended by members of the State Library and Library Commission.
